finally, after several months intensiv work, this new album is ready for a release. But first fRa-film will do videos for all the tracks, so a good guess is for a release this fall. this will be the first album from ConnyOlivetti since the formation of the group wHaTiF? late 2005. Time goes by.

This was a truly positive surprise! Fresh and daring! The sound canvas is experimental with a nice depth and width. Natural rhythms, almost transcendental at times. The girl´s voice is very present and interesting to listen to. Welcome!

… die sich wunderbar in die – wie für sie gemachte – Musik einfügt.

Insgesamt bietet das Album genug Abwechslung um nicht langweilig zu werden aber trotzdem im Stil und in sich stimmig zu bleiben.

Dennoch finde ich, dass bei diesem Album alles von der Gesangstimme lebt; die Musik ist schmückendes und unterstreichendes – aber keinesfalls vernachlässigbares – Beiwerk.

Ein sehr schönes, gelungenes Album.

I strongly recommend this album to all and everyone.
It should be listened to in every household across the planet.
In fact, it should be punishable by law not to listen to “The Final Meltdown?”.
I hereby testify that I am not, nor have I ever been a member of this group or in any way associated with this group or its affiliates.
My favourite tracks are all of the tracks. Why? Because they are all very good.
This album sounds like it is made to climb straight to the top of all charts.
I like the design of the cover; it is designed to look very good and the artists depicted look very good as well. They ought to become millionaires and tour the world.
Playing live, they would probably sound as good as this record does, that is, like the best of the best.
To summarize, I find this album very appealing

This sounds a lot like Bjoerk, Mum,… Islandic! But still the best Jamendo release this year! Great music!

super härlig stämning och kul med alla små infall! Det mesta låter triphop, måste jag säga men det är ju inte dåligt. Jag känner av en del äldre Tricky i materialet och han var ju kung en gång i tiden. Tjejen har en grymt härlig röst och jag tycker det är helt genialt när den ligger mot mansrösten i Bo Ding Ding. Den låten är helknepig, för övrigt. Känns lite som ett skämt men den växte på mig och blev som en spännande version av någon Leonard Cohen-låt.

Ok, here we go:

Jag har svårt för “Bosse Ding Ding”. Jag har ännu svårare för “Stand Up”. Med det är allt negativt avklarat.

“Rainy Days”, “Real Or Fiction”, “People Talk”, “Jenny And Her Father”, “Dream Of Peace” och “Running Over Fields” är total världsklass. Fantastiskt låtsnickeri, enastående framförande, snortight produktion och en Linnea som är en storstjärna i sin linda, om det finns någon logik i den här världen (vilket jag iofs betvivlar).

Hon berör mig på ett sätt som jag så här spontant bara kan kan komma på två andra svenska sångerskor som gör, nämligen Stina Nordenstam och Karin Dreijer. Ett fantastiskt uttryck och ett galet bra samspel med er som står för instrumenteringen.

Jag är helt övertygad om att när det här året är slut, så kommer låtarna jag nämnde här ovanför fortfarande att vara bland det bästa vi åstadkommit i det här landet under 2009, om inte det bästa.

Jag har enorm respekt för er och jag unnar er ordentligt med uppmärksamhet för vad ni presterar.

Förresten, har ni skickat skivan till Pitchfork? Om inte, gör det! Nu!

Och äntligen efter en massa bedrövelser den här veckan så har man äntligen fått ordning på datorhelvetet så man kan lyssna på det nya albumet.

Så vad kommer man fram till efter första lyssningen? Tja, att ni håller fanan högt som vanligt och levererar ännu en solid produktion.

Den enda låten som inte föll mig riktigt i smaken var Stand Up men det var nog mer för att den bryter mönstret eller stilen på skivan genom att vara en ganska normal låt (om det nu skall vara något negativt ). Bo Dig Ding gör det också men inte riktigt på samma sätt så den klarar sig på ett bättre sätt. Det kan iofs bero på att jag hört den förut så jag var ‘förberedd’ den här gången. Dessutom så börjar jag tycka om den som den konstiga låt den är

Som redan nämnts så har ju Linnea en gudabenådad pipa och lixom Skilling skrev så berör den på ett sätt som få artister lyckas med. Dessutom så passar den till musiken på ett superbra sätt. Ljudproduktion med allt vad det innebär är som alltid grymt imponerande. I mina amatöröron så låter helt enkelt ‘kommersiellt’ om det hela.

Lyssnar nu, mkt gosig skiva fan ju… (iofs inte så oväntat) ,, , iofs vore det nais om det skulle brista ut i mer storslaget och maffigt nångång …
Dream of peace+rainy days kickar ju det mesta som man hört på radion i “pop”-stuk med tjejsång de senaste åren, och då har det ju levereats mer bra sånnt än nånsin liksom..

Lyssnat på den ett par gånger när jag sitter och jobbar nu, väldigt trevligt och bra.

Får lite Tom Waits-vibbar av skivan.
Det låter genomgående skitbra. Dels för att det låter skitbra men minst lika mycket för att det hörs att ni har kul. Vissa låtar faller mig i smaken mer än andra men det ändrar inte det faktum att ni gjort ett grymt bra jobb.

super wonderful atmosphere and fun with all the little tricks! Most sounds triphop, must I say, but it’s not bad. I feel some older Tricky in the material and he was king in the past. The girl has a cruel lovely voice and I think it is quite brilliant when it is against the man’s voice in Bo Ding Ding. The song is weird. Feels a bit like a joke but it grew on me and sounds like an exciting version of a Leonard Cohen song.

Ok, here we go:

I have a problem with the “Bosse Ding Ding”. I have even more difficult for the “Stand Up”. That takes care of the negative part.

“Rainy Days,” “Real Or Fiction”, “People Talk,” “Jenny And Her Father,” “Dream Of Peace “and” Running Over Fields “is the total world. Fantastic songwriting, outstanding performance, tight production and a Linnea which is a
big star in its infancy, if there is any logic in this world (which I really doubt). She affects me in a way that only two other Swedish singers can do, namely, Stina Nordenstam and Karin Dreijer. A fantastic expression and a (crazy) good interaction with the instrumentations. I am totally convinced that when this year is up, so will the songs I
mentioned above will still be among the best we have achieved in the this country in 2009, if not the best.
I have enormous respect for you and I wish you well with attention to what you are performing. By the way, have you sent the disc to Pitchfork? If not, do it! Now!

So what can one say after the first listen? Well, you keep flag flying as usual, and delivers yet another solid production.

The only song that was not to my taste was Stand Up but it had more to do with break the pattern or style of the disc, as its quite a normal song (if thats a negative thing to say?). Bo Dig Ding will also make it but not quite the same way as it can manage in a better way. It may depend on that I heard it before so I was’ prepared ‘this time. Also, I start to think about it as the odd song it is. As already mentioned, as has Linnea DIVINELY GIFTED voice and as Skilling wrote, it affects in a way that few artists achieve. Also, fits to the music in a great manner. The production is really impressive. In my amateur ears it sounds ‘commercial’.
